X-men Origins Wolverine PS3 Review

wolverine-xmen1While the movie of the Wolverine Origins was mediocre… the game is a different matter entirely. Everything I complained about in the movie… was fixed in the game.

The Story is almost nonexistent in the game…. PERFECT… not needed.

The action is insanely over the top… PERFECT

The violence is ridiculous… Bounty paper towels will NEVER get the stains out… You’d have to dry-clean an entire country to clean that mess up…

The graphics are mediocre… not bad… just not amazing… and there is often pop-in which is really not excusable in today’s development process.

The game has an insane amount of combinations, and ways to brutally punish opponents.

This game definitely gives the experience of being Wolverine, does an amazing job of capturing the character and ultimately sets itself as the definitive example of how to represent the violent Marvel comics character.

It feels good to play this game. It’s fun. It’s linear, simple, and without much replay value… but boy is it fun to cut off a guy’s arm and beat him to death with it till his skull cracks as he desperately tries to crawl away to save himself.
