If anyone has seen wasteland movies (like MadMax) they may know what I am referring to.
Just 3 years after hurricane Katrina slammed the area in New Orleans, we have Hurricane Gustav decimating the area again.
People had to abandon and evacuate before. Now they are facing another evacuation. This area is getting worse and worse without any sign of the weather easing up. It makes no sense to invest or live there.
I honestly feel if this happens a few more times this area will be viewed as a wasteland and no one will inhabit the area. Except for the nomadic gipsies with battle axes looking for Cans of coca-cola.
