Ahhh… while I love how pretty Flash sites can be… i’m fed up with Flash for a VERY VERY simple reason… it can’t be searched.
Ok, a lot of photography and restaurant sites use Flash to make them pretty and easy on the eyes.
One argument against using flash, recently has been that if your clients are browsing your site on an iOS device (which is common these days with iPAD and iPHONE…. ) they won’t be able to see it.
that’s a good enough argument… but for those out there who say “Android rocks! Apple Sucks!” … and insist on brandishing their Adobe Flash support in everyone’s faces…. here’s something to think about…. when you create a nice little portfolio on your site using flash, and you create tags and load pictures with all kinds of metadata (like GeoTagging info)… NO search engine will be able to find it. Your site enters the dark zone. good luck growing your company’s business when Google can’t see anything.
